Anaconda 3: Offspring

Anaconda 3: Offspring exists almost entirely as a vehicle for David Hasselhoff to fight computer-generated snakes, and on that extremely narrow premise it delivers exactly what it promises. John Rhys-Davies plays the wealthy sponsor with a cancer diagnosis motivating his refusal to let the snakes die, which gives the plot a thin justification for keeping the threat alive longer than it should be. The CG work is cheap even by Syfy Channel standards from this era, and Hasselhoff gets far less screen time than his top billing suggests, spending long stretches of the runtime absent while other characters carry scenes he should be in. Shot in Romania alongside its back-to-back sequel Anacondas: Trail of Blood, the production values stretch thin across both films. Curious viewing purely for the Hasselhoff factor, and not much else.
